Baïdir is an epic, modern, environmental family fable.

It tells the story of Baidir, a hero willing to do anything to retrieve his kidnapped sister and in the process find his family and restore their lost balance….and indeed our planet’s lost environmental equilibrium.

In 2089, while environmental and climactic disasters ravage our planet Earth, the answer is for humanity to relocate to a planet called Eccoh.

We find our hero, Baidir in Paris living with his grandfather, his little sister, Nayah and their alley cat Mushi. Baïdir does not believe in the promises of Eccoh but Nayah does.  She is the opposite of her brother and has complete faith that Eccoh is the answer.  She often dreams of that wondrous place. 

One day, Nayah is kidnapped. With Mushi by his side, Baïdir chases after her into a suddenly appearing energy portal.  On the other side, it seems that they have been transported to Eccoh.  How can that be? 

 As Baïdir continues his search for Nayah, he unwittingly discovers his father is behind his sister’s kidnapping and that all is not well on Eccoh. What’s more, he discovers that his parents are the cause of everything that is wrong on the new promised planet. He will gradually piece together the puzzle of his family roots. We will see him growing up, learning, experiencing disappointment, falling and getting back up. We will see him become a hero.  He will save his sister, his parents and set upon the path to restore Eccoh’s and ultimately Earth’s equilibrium.
