NEWS BRIEF: ZooMoo Networks has acquired animated series Origanimals and The Hive in a new deal with Bejuba! Entertainment.
Both series will be airing across all ZooMoo territories, with The Hive set to premiere in March followed by the world-premiere of Origanimals in April.
Paper comes to life in the unique, new animated series Origanimals. Set on the amazing Planet Origami, this series follows a fabulous rescue team made of Ryan Rhino, Fiona Fox, Zoe Zebra and Khye Koala, known as the Awesome Four or ‘A4’, as they set out to help animals in trouble, using their problem-solving skills and creative origami solutions.
The Hive is a colourful animated series set in the world of Honeybee Hive, and the home of the Bee family. Buzzbee and Rubee, Pappa Bee and Mamma Bee, are just like any other family, except they are tiny, stripey and buzz around in the sky! The Hive is about everyday things that concern young children, but set in the busy world of bees there is always fun, adventure and lots of exciting things to see and do.
Karin Simoncini, Head of Programming for ZooMoo Networks says the acquisition deal is very exciting for the network as they look to expand their animation slate.
“ZooMoo is dedicated to bringing programming about animals and nature to preschool aged children around the world and both Origanimals and The Hive fit perfectly into our line-up. Bejuba! is a great partner as their offerings for young kids aligns well with this mission.”
Tatiana Kober, President of Bejuba! Entertainment says, “ZooMoo is an exciting new channel with a strong brand vision and strategy and is a perfect fit for Origanimals and The Hive. Both shows will be sure to make children smile, whether they’re in Asia, the US or Latin America”.
